Dadaist sentiments. In homage of those extraordinary, revolutionary & experimental electronic, hardcore, raver, techno and hard house talents I grew up hearing all around me.

This is a farce or parody as well, poking fun at myself, but in an affirming, self appreciating way. It bravely conveys my personal fetishes for lots and lots of drums, with chaotic elements to break beat, literally break, of course derived from the above mentioned genres during my ridiculously fun teenage raver/junglist days. Staying up all night and day, drinking water, and mowing down veggie dumplings. Walking through dark corridors leading into back stages of incredible armature and seasoned DJs work their magic. For the huge crowds of smiles and ninja dance moves. Drool!

The arrangement and production direction, sought to capture the exact atmosphere of those times for me. Personally it takes me back. This is my most personal work, as it encapsulates a coming of age, a discovery period in my life where my taste in certain grooves really solidified. Which also gave way to my own musicality.

There are so many DJs to thank but one woman kicked it all off for me, DJ Honey Mustard (Calgary, Alberta). She then, would have spun a lot of hard techno, hard-core etc etc, she was always so creative and generous to share the stage with me to jam out to her sets on my then, 21 stringed zheng.

What can I say I was still a teenager groeing into adulthood quick-fast when I produced this album!
